Paul took me to the local surfers spot one day. There is a church right on the hill above and it's THE PLACE to get married because of the breath taking view. There is only a little beach located in the area and not much room for the dogs to run. We decided to turn to our left since Paul had never walked that way before and explore. I'm very glad we did this because what we found was priceless.
We walked over lots of rocks and to start out I would see tiny little pools of water stuck in the rock but as we walked the pools began to grow in size. Soon enough we found all kinds of different tide pools. Some you could have swam in, some were more like puddles. Regardless of the size they were full of life. It was only a matter of time before both Paul and I were sitting beside a pool exploring. I found myself reaching for a rocks and slowly turning them over to see what I could find. At some point I laughed at myself because I expected to find crawdads and salamanders. I didn't find anything like that but we did find crabs, shrimp, fish, hermit crabs, crustations, snails, sea weed, AND starfish! I don't think the dogs had much fun walking on the pointed rocks but Paul and I were acting like little kids playing in this secret world that only we could find. I've always wanted to explore and find a place like this. Every pool was different and you had to stop and see what you could find. I think this is a top favorite place that I went.
